Prosecutor Esther Suarez's office said only that two vehicles were involved in the Paterson Plank Road crash, and that it was expected to be closed through the Monday, Oct. 16 morning commute.

According to abc7, the crash happened near Congress Street just after 12:30 p.m. Footage from the scene shows remnants of a silver Kia on its side and a blue BMW with airbags deployed and all of its doors open.
